The Staff Support, Development and Evaluation Policy of the Faculty of Law at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki reflects the School’s commitment to continuously enhancing the quality of its academic, research, and administrative personnel within the university’s broader quality assurance framework.
The policy promotes a supportive, innovative, and internationally oriented working environment, enabling continuous professional and scientific development for teaching, research, and administrative staff. Recruitment and academic advancement are based on transparent criteria established by Greek higher education legislation, focusing on teaching effectiveness, research excellence, international academic presence, contribution to knowledge transfer, ability to attract research funding, and academic integrity.
The Faculty actively supports staff development through:

The Faculty also collaborates with the university’s Teaching and Learning Support Centre, which provides training, seminars, educational resources, and support for innovative and inclusive teaching practices. Teaching effectiveness is regularly evaluated through student course evaluations conducted every semester in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Unit (MODIP)
In addition, participation in international initiatives such as EPICUR, Erasmus+, and other global academic networks strengthens staff mobility, training, and international engagement.
