Student Services

The Secretariat of the International LL.B. Programme at the Faculty of Law, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, is responsible for handling student and administrative matters at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Its main responsibilities include managing the Faculty’s printed and electronic correspondence, maintaining official records and meeting minutes, issuing certificates, managing student registration procedures, coordinating course and examination schedules, announcing academic results, and processing matters related to postgraduate studies.

The Secretariat is located on the ground floor of the Faculty of Law building and serves students on working days from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Telephone support is available from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. For matters relating to the International LL.B. Programme, students may also contact the dedicated Student Services office directly.

Student Life and Support

At Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, students have access to spaces and services that support both their academic life and everyday student experience.

The Student Club is a popular meeting place where thousands of students gather to eat, relax, and spend time with friends between classes. It serves three meals a day for less than €100 per month, with free meals available for eligible students through the university’s support services.

The Library of the Faculty, part of the Library & Information Centre of Aristotle University, is one of the largest specialised law libraries in Greece, offering an ideal environment for studying, individual work, and group preparation. The Faculty maintains a dedicated LL.B. room within the library, with extensive English-language collections. Students have full access to leading legal databases, including HeinOnline, Westlaw International, LexisNexis, Kluwer Law Online, Beck-Online, Dalloz, EUR-Lex, HUDOC, and NOMOS, both on campus and remotely via VPN.

The University Gym offers a wide range of sports facilities, exercise programmes, courts, and departmental teams for just €30 per year.

The university provides healthcare through the Primary Health Care Centre, psychological support through the Counselling and Psychological Support Centre, and career guidance through the Career Services Office. Internship opportunities are also available, offering students their first contact with the professional world.

The Equal Access Unit ensures that all students, regardless of disability or other learning challenges, have equal rights, support, and access to the same academic and student experience throughout their studies.
